32 Weeks!

Yes, I have cut my hair for the fourth time in about 2 months. It is growing like a weed. I may go even shorter before Calem arrives. Well, I am growing and growing. My belly itches all the time now. I have changed around the baby room and am very anxious about finishing putting it together. Lately, I have been nesting like crazy. I have my closet to conquer before Calem gets here. If I don't do it now, it will NEVER be finished.

Mom and dad come to town this weekend. Hopefully mom and I can come up with some cute ideas for decorating the room and making things manageable around here!

Welcome to Calem's room!

Welcome to Calem's room. As you view the following pictures, you will get the clockwise view. Enjoy! More to come.....

This is where mommy, daddy, and hopefully Nana, Mama Rox, and Grandaddy Charles will spend some sleepless nights taking care of sweet Calem.

With some curtains, a rug, and a cushion for that bony rocking chair, we will be set to house the world's first Calem Charles Helmer.

Calem's future dwelling place for the next year to two years of his life. There will not be any sleep-overs in mommy and daddy's bed. We will make sure use this crib for all it's worth.

Well, it looks like mommy's closet doesn't it. Nope, those clothes are all Calem's. Calem's friend, Jake, has been so gracious to give all of his clothes that he no longer wears. You can see that I have separated the clothes by months. (left to right) Newborn, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 12 months. We have accumulated a bunch of clothes for the 3-6 month category. This weekend, my running buddy stopped by to give us her crib and toys that her children have outgrown. We have been very blessed by our friends! Now all we need is CALEM!

This was a garden something or other that we found at a garage sale. We have converted it into the changing table!

Calem is packing for Colorado

Mommy started to pack for Calem when she realized that they are going to stay with Mama Rox and Grandaddy for two weeks! We are just a bit excited about exploring Lake City and the beautiful outdoors. Aunt Abby (and probably Uncle Hunter) will get to see Calem this summer for the first time. He will be so big at 8 weeks.

Calem is packed for Colorado

Calem has received alot of clothes from his friend, Jake. We think we want to take some of these outfits to Colorado for Abby's wedding. I am sure he will look most handsome in the overalls and kakhi shorts! Mommy is so excited to show him to the world.
