28 Weeks...80 days til Calem's arrival!

Well, here is mommy standing by the beautiful, antique mantle in the living room. You can see that I have grown since the picture at 21 weeks. Forget the belly shot.....what do you think of the fireplace? He He! We are preparing the house for Calem. Haley has been hounding Rob to finish all the little details that are most critical for her to be a good wife and mother (plug the stove in, cover the electrical outlets, put up a light in the kitchen and hallway, get me some furniture!) It is coming along very nicely. It is fun to put together the house and the furnishings one step at a time because it feels new and exciting everytime we do something new. It will really be an adventure when we add a wee-one to the mix.

28 weeks....80 Days til Calem's arrival!

Well here I am at 28 weeks and 5 days. I go to the doctor tomorrow to check for gestational diabetes. I don't have any signs of it but it is routine for every woman to have this done. Rob and I should start birthing classes in February. I am excited! We are officially 80 days away and counting. As soon as my mom gets to Houston in Feb., we are going to start on Calem's room! I have some major work to do in there. You can see the only thing I have set up is the rocking chair!
